ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos have chosen quality over quantity when it comes to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas' work in practice this week. Their hope is that results in Thomas being in his usual spot in the lineup Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Thomas suffered a left hip injury on a 6-yard catch in the first quarter of the Broncos' season-opening win over the Carolina Panthers. Thomas left briefly but returned and played 44 of the Broncos' 58 plays on offense overall.
"I still played the whole game, I did what I had to do," Thomas said.
