Broncos agree to contract terms with five rookie draft picks

The Broncos rookie class reports for the weekend’s rookie minicamp Thursday and the club’s wasted no time agreeing to terms with several draft picks this week.

Denver’s got agreements now with five of the seven players drafted last month. As of Wednesday evening, only the top two picks — first-round corner Jahdae Barron and second-round running back RJ Harvey — had not yet agreed to terms.

Those that have, according to a source: Third-round WR Pat Bryant and DL Sai’Vion Jones, fourth-round OLB Que Robinson, sixth-round P Jeremy Crawshaw and seventh-round TE Caleb Lohner.

It used to be that rookie contracts could involve substantial negotiation.
