Broncos add safety Chris Cooper to practice squad

The Broncos signed safety Chris Cooper to their practice squad Tuesday.

Cooper, 26, played at Stony Brook, appearing in 33 games and posting totals of 147 tackles (12 for lost yardage) and four interceptions.

After going undrafted, Cooper signed with Indianapolis in 2018 and also been with Kansas City, Cincinnati and Atlanta. He was with the Falcons in training camp, spending two days on the COVID-19 reserve list and getting waived on Sept. 5. He has not appeared in a regular season game.
