Broncos add former Texans linebacker Reshard Cliett to practice squad; released Garrett Graham fr

The Broncos made a practice squad addition Tuesday when they signed former Texans linebacker Reshard Cliett, his agent said.

Cliett, a 2015 sixth-round pick, was one of the Texans’ final roster cuts. He missed his rookie season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a torn meniscus in his right knee during the preseason.

The Broncos were intrigued by Cliett’s speed and athleticism. During his South Florida pro day, Cliett, 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.4 and 4.5 seconds.

Denver will need to make a corresponding transaction to open up a spot for Cliett on the practice squad.
