Back to the Denver Broncos Newsfeed

Both ESPN and Fox are trying to land Peyton Manning and his accompanying star power as a prime time NFL analyst.

According to the New York Post, both ESPN and Fox are doing everything they can to entice former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning into the broadcast booth in 2018. ESPN wants him as Jon Gruden’s replacement on Monday Night Football, while Fox would put him in as the Thursday Night Football analyst.

Manning has consistently waffled on the idea of entering the broadcast booth as he wants to follow in John Elway’s footsteps and actually run an NFL franchise.

Manning’s ultimate goal is to be like John Elway and have an ownership stake in a team, while running football operations, he has said.
