As seen from space: Denver Broncos Super Bowl parade

As the sea of orange swelled in and around Denver’s Civic Center park, DigitalGlobe, the locally based eye in the sky, was able to snap a long-range shot of crowds gathering for the Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 victory parade and celebration.

DigitalGlobe Inc., the Westminster-based satellite imagery provider, used its WorldView-2 satellite to capture the activity at 11:11 a.m. on Tuesday. The parade started at noon, leaving from Union Station along 17th Street and then Broadway to arrive at Civic Center.
