As Diontae Spencer enters his second season as the Broncos’ primary returner, coach Vic Fangio likes where the 28-year-old is at.
Minus, of course, the scoring play that Spencer failed to pull off last season while recording 26 returns for 208 yards in the punt game (long of 42) and 15 returns for 436 yards off kickoffs (long of 60).
“He’s got to score some touchdowns,” Fangio said. “He came close last year on a couple, so he’s got to take it to the next level, and take one or two to the house.
