Here’s a look around NFC this week …
Ertz’s record pace. Lost in Philadelphia’s now-difficult climb to the playoffs (4-5) is tight end Zach Ertz’s sensational season. Through nine games, he has 75 catches, which puts him on pace for a whopping 133 receptions. In league history, tight ends have only three 100-catch seasons (Dallas Clark 100 in 2009, Tony Gonzalez 102 in ‘04 and Jason Witten 110 in ’12). Ertz has four double-digit catch and 100-yard games apiece. The Eagles are 0-4 when Ertz has at least 10 catches.
