NEW ORLEANS — One of the more significant calls of the Broncos’ 25-23 win over the Saints on Sunday came late in the third quarter, after quarterback Trevor Siemian threw his second interception and sustained a bevy of hits.
Coach Gary Kubiak benched right tackle Donald Stephenson and replaced him with Ty Sambrailo.
Although Broncos’ hit triple-digits in rushing yards (103) for the first time in three games, Siemian was pummeled along the way, taking six sacks and 11 quarterback hits. Per Pro Football Focus, Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan had nine pressures and seven defensive stops.
