Annabel Bowlen, the wife of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, has entered the dispute between Bill Bowlen and the Pat Bowlen Trust.
Annabel Bowlen filed a court motion to intervene in litigation filed in Arapahoe County District Court.
“We believe that that the Trustees have honored the wishes of her husband and their obligation to the beneficiaries of the Trust, and that the filing of a lawsuit by Mr. Bowlen’s brother serves no purpose,” said Hugh Gottschalk, Annabel’s attorney, in a statement.
Bill Bowlen filed a lawsuit in October asking the court to remove the three-person trust from power.
