Going into the Broncos week five matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, I was very concerned for the team since Josey Jewell was going to miss the game due to a hamstring injury. Going up against Melvin Gordon and Austin Eckler was not going to be an easy task. Thank goodness for Alexander Johnson for breathing some fresh air in the team’s linebacking corps.
One of the biggest surprises of the Denver Broncos week five win against the Chargers was first time starter Alexander Johnson. What he did for the Broncos defense was nothing short of spectacular.
He was able to record nine tackles and an interception.
