With a huge setback last week in the 42-17 road loss to the Detroit Lions, the Denver Broncos must come out and find some grit to close out the season strong and have a chance to make the playoffs. For Head Coach Sean Payton, that grit has to show up against the New England Patriots first and foremost.
“I think it’s going to be very important,” Payton said. “We all watched the games yesterday and you get caught up in the numbers and the percentages. You can only focus on the things you can control and it’s obviously getting ready to play New England and that’s it.
