Broncos News: Top 3 Storylines For 2015

The Denver Broncos' 2014 season ended on a sour note in the postseason, but the team seems primed to answer their critics with a return to glory in the first year of the Gary Kubiak era. Here are the Broncos' top 3 storylines for the 2015 season:

1) Can Peyton Manning have a bounce back year?

The future Hall of Famer has many great qualities to his game, but it's his "eff you" mentality when it comes to silencing the haters which should lead to big things in 2015. A motivated Peyton Manning is a dangerous Peyton Manning, and he's going to come in to training cap with his tail on fire and something to prove after all of the retirement talk at the opening of the offseason.

2) Can the defense match the offense?

Aqib Talib. Von Miller. DeMarcus Ware. Chris Harris. The Denver Broncos' 2015 defense will be a cup overflowing with talented pieces. From a pure individual talent perspective, there are very few defenses out there that can hang with the Broncos. The fact that the unit has had some time to build cohesion and trust is only going to be icing on that cake of awesomeness.

Denver has been known as an offensive team since Peyton Manning arrived and will continue to be viewed that way as long as he's under center, but the defense is expected to improve from being the liability they've been the past few seasons.

3) What will Gary Kubiak bring to the table?

The Broncos get a fresh start under Kubiak, and they'll have 10 picks in the 2015 NFL Draft to start off Kubiak's time as Denver head coach with a wealth of young talent to play with. The franchise felt primed for a slow, suffocating fade under John Fox. Now, there's room to breathe and push forward under Kubiak -- especially with a gaggle of dynamic prospects set to start their careers under his charge.
