Before the Super Bowl, before the BCS Championship, and even before the unlikely scholarship, Trindon Holliday had a problem. His 40-yard dash time was too fast. High school coaches were convinced that colleges wouldn't believe the 5'5 phenom's times, so they tacked on fractions of a second to make them seem more believable.
After running a 4.27 40 in basketball shoes (without bothering to get into a track stance), LSU coaches were sold, and Holliday's journey began in earnest.
