Broncos Rumors Roundup: The Latest On Denver's Coaching Search

The Denver Broncos turned plenty of heads on Monday when they announced HC John Fox and the team would 'mutually part ways'...let's take a look at the latest stories to hit the rumor mill...

Dan Quinn

The Seahawks DC (pictured) quickly emerged as one of the top coaching candidates in Denver, but there are a few key roadblocks in the way. Quinn will be unavailable for interviews until Seattle's playoff run ends, and he recently said that he wants the Atlanta Falcons job.

Teryl Austin

Austin, like Quinn, is one of the top candidates for the Falcons job, and the Broncos have some catching up to with a candidate that's been interviewing elsewhere for weeks. Austin only has one year under his belt as a coordinator, but few NFL coaches have ever seen their stock rise as quickly as his did in 2014.

Gary Kubiak

The current Ravens OC was immediately linked to the Broncos job as soon as it became available, and he's definitely worth keeping an eye on as things progress. While Wikipedia is already claiming he's the head coach in Denver (as of early Wednesday afternoon), they've definitely jumped the gun - per the NFL Network's Albert Breer, the Broncos haven't even requested to interview him as of press time.

Adam Gase

Gase remains an outside contender for the coaching job, but it sounds like the 49ers are a much more likely destination. Quite a few front offices around the league expect the 49ers next HC to be either Gase or defensive line coach Jim Tomsula.

Jack Del Rio

Del Rio is officially set to become Oakland's next head coach. Check back tomorrow for a look at who the Broncos might target as their next DC.
