3 Denver Broncos Players That Need To Step Up In 2015

The Denver Broncos have plenty of reason for optimism with months to go until the start of the 2015 NFL season, but a successful campaign could hinge on big years from the group of guys listed below. Here’s Denver Broncos Players Who Need To Step Up In 2015.

WR Cody Latimer

The Broncos used their 2nd round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft on the former Indiana wideout, and will need to step up in a big way in year two after not seeing the field much during his rookie season. If Latimer can grow into his role as an outside receiver in the NFL, the kid's 6-foot-3 frame and impressive skill set will make him an impact player in this league.

CB Kayvon Webster

Webster's ascent up the defensive depth chart may be in question under a new regime if he can't display his natural speed and physicality as a tackler early and often in training camp. If he can, he'll be a heck of a depth piece for the Broncos' secondary as they piece everything together in the team's new 3-4 scheme.

RT Michael Schofield

2013 All-Pro Louis Vasquez is expected to move back to right guard after spending nine games at right tackle in 2014. With that being the case, new head coach Gary Kubiak will give Schofield every opportunity to win the starting right tackle job outright. If Schofield can continue to add bulk and pure muscle mass, he has the footwork and smarts to be a stalwart of the team's O-line in 2015.
