With an Adele song as its battle cry, a lowly English soccer club looks to rewrite history

Adele’s “Someone Like You” is a breakup salve, a song about unrequited love and a critically acclaimed chart topper. Chorley FC, a club that plays in the sixth tier of English soccer, has advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time in its 138-year history. It will host Premier League opponent Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday.
