What will D.C. United’s new stadium look like? The latest renderings are out.

D.C. United has not finalized the design of its new stadium at Buzzard Point, but the MLS club is getting closer. Revised renderings have been submitted as part of the zoning commission process, officials said. Future updates will be provided as required by the city.

United managing general partner Jason Levien told the Insider last month that he expects the city to turn over control of the land to the club this summer, with the hope of breaking ground soon thereafter. The venue is slated to open in 2018, leaving United with two more full seasons at RFK Stadium, its home since MLS’s inaugural campaign in 1996.
