The Washington Spirit have traded attacker Tiffany Weimer to the Houston Dash in exchange for the Dash’s natural fourth round pick in the 2019 NWSL College Draft. Washington acquired Weimer via the dispersal draft a few weeks ago in the aftermath of the Boston Breakers folding.
“We were delighted to select Tiffany in the Dispersal Draft and have the opportunity to bring her back to the Spirit,” said Washington head coach Jim Gabarra in a team press release. “Houston approached us about the possibility of bringing Tiff to the Dash.
