Washington Spirit defender Caprice Dydasco cleared to play

Washington Spirit defender Caprice Dydasco, who was out due to a left ACL tear, is cleared to play, a Spirit spokesperson confirmed today. Dydasco tore her ACL in the NWSL title game last October. In April, she was cleared to train but is now off the 45-day disabled list. There is no Spirit game this weekend due to an international break but the Spirit face the Chicago Red Stars the following Saturday.

Dydasco joined the team in 2015 as a rookie and played in 12 matches last year, mainly at left back. She could fill in for Alyssa Kleiner or Kassey Kallman, who currently play at left back for the Spirit.
