USMNT beats Jamaica, D.C. United and Washington Spirit news, and more: Freedom kicks for 10/8/2021

Good morning! It took me all of yesterday to recover mentally and physically after tweaking my back at Subaru Park and then being stuck in construction traffic that turned the trip back into a 4.5 hour odyssey, but I think I have to together enough to write some words.
