Travis Worra Earns Assist in 1-0 Richmond Kickers Win

It took 80 minutes for the Kickers to deliver, but deliver they did for nearly 6,000 home fans at City Stadium. Rochester came out expecting pressure from Richmond, a team trying to salvage a season where they’ll miss the playoffs for the first time since 2003. Scoring help came from an unlikely source. Travis Worra, who’s been dynamic for Richmond since joining the team on loan from D.C. United, earned his first assist of the season with a long ball over the Rochester back line.

In a match that didn’t see many chances, the Rhinos elected to absorb Richmond pressure and disrupt play up the middle of the field.
