As expected, D.C. United and Steve Clark have reached an agreement on a new contract, with the 31 year old officially signing the deal today. We had previously reported that a deal was close, and United has continued a busy day by making sure the experienced Clark will be in the fold for next season.
Clark had previously played for Hønefoss BK in Norway, the Columbus Crew, and Danish side AC Horsens before joining United this past August. He has 112 total MLS appearances (regular season and playoffs), and finished 3rd in the balloting for the league’s Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2014.
