Recap: Loudoun lose to Charleston Battery 1-0

If there was a common thread slowly appearing in Loudoun United games this season, it is the inability to finish chances presented to them. And that problem (which appeared in their first game) came back to haunt them tonight as they dropped a 1-0 result to the Charleston Battery in front of 1,126 at Segra Field.

Loudoun gave midfielder Darluis Paz and goalkeeper Keegan Meyer their first starts in the USL Championship; D.C. United loanee Michael DeShields played on the right of a three-man backline and Jacob Greene spent most of his time as a left wing back.
