Dave Sarachan, the coaching caretaker for the U.S. men’s national team since the World Cup qualifying failure in October, has invited about 30 players — almost all from MLS clubs — for the annual winter camp at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The squad will be unveiled to the public at noon ET on Monday. Camp will open next Thursday and run through the Jan. 28 friendly vs. Bosnia in Carson.

Because the camp does not fall inside a FIFA window, players employed by Mexican and European clubs are not available. However, in the past, there have been instances when a young player or someone without a match anytime soon has been released for international duty.
