Mexico, Costa Rica and Jamaica join U.S. bid to host 2031 women’s World Cup

The four-nation effort, which is running unopposed, is expected to be ratified by FIFA in April.

The United States is poised to co-host the 2031 women’s World Cup with Mexico, Costa Rica and Jamaica, the U.S. Soccer Federation announced Monday, ending months of speculation regarding which nations would join an unopposed American effort to bring the tournament back to North America.
