Joe Musgrove has thrown the first no-hitter in the San Diego Padres' 53-year history.
The historic feat came Friday night in a 3-0 San Diego win over the Texas Rangers.
Musgrove struck out 10 and walked none, allowing only one Rangers player, Joey Gallo, to reach base on a hit by pitch in the fourth inning.
Entering the night, the Padres were the only MLB team that had never had a no-hitter thrown for them, with Friday being their 8,206th regular-season game all-time.
