FA chairman resigns after racist remarks, Orlando to host Concacaf Champions League, and more: Freedom Kicks for November 11, 2020

Happy Wednesday everyone, and I start out by saying Happy Veterans Day to all of you who served for our nation’s armed forces. We are thankful for you all everyday for your service and your sacrifice. And with that spirit, we get to the news from yesterday:

The England FA chairman is out after referring to black players as “coloured footballers.” He also said there were more South Asians than Afro-Caribbean employees in the FA’s IT department because “they have different career interests.” Dude had to go a long time ago. Aston Villa forward Tyrone Mings says that the new chairman should be black, but we will see what they actually do.
