D.C. United’s winless rut reaches nine with a loss at New England

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Leo Campana and Carles Gil scored eight minutes apart in the second half, and Matt Turner posted a clean sheet in his first start since 2022 to lead New England to a 2-0 victory over D.C. United on Saturday night, ending the Revolution’s nine-match winless run.

Neither team found the net until Campana scored in the 62nd minute to give the Revolution (7-11-7) the lead. Gil collected his ninth assist on Campana’s fifth goal.
