Ahead of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors’ hearing on January 10 on D.C. United’s offices and stadium for a USL stadium, the Memorandum of Agreement between D.C. United and Loudoun County is available to review online. In addition, there is a staff report that includes members of the Department of Economic Development, the Department of Management and Budget, the County Administrator and County Attorney’s Office.
There is a little bit to digest here, so I’ll try to provide some high-level observations as I come across them:
- The team is not only repaying the County’s $15 million financing but assuming any overage costs on building and upgrades (expected in 15 to 20 years).
