It is always much more enjoyable to write Freedom Kicks after a win, and that is just what I get to do this morning. Erik Sorga’s goal was fantastic, and I need to see more of him out on the field. The win also moves D.C. United back over the red line in the expanded Covid-era MLS Cup playoffs, so hopefully they can continue to stay on that side of it.

After a pretty bad first thirty minutes, D.C. United played okey-to-decent for the rest of the game, a grabbed three points at the very end due to a very nice Erik Sorga goal.
