In long-rumored moves, D.C. United has officially traded Chris Pontius for Lamar Neagle in a three team deal

In a move that was previewed last week, D.C. United has now officially traded Chris Pontius to the Philadelphia Union while also trading for Lamar Neagle from the Seattle Sounders.

Pontius was the longest serving player on D.C. United's roster, having been drafted in 2009. Bill Hamid now becomes the longest-serving player on the roster, and Chris Korb is the longest serving field player.
