D.C. United to sign Segura, MLS to Nashville, and more: Freedom Kicks for December 20, 2017

Happy Wednesday folks. MLS had a bit of a day yesterday, but there was one late night Black & Red United exclusive, so let’s get right to it:

Ulises Segura appears to be on his way to D.C. United. The 24-year-old Costa Rica international leaves Deportivo Saprissa to bolster the Black-and-Red midfield.

Today, MLS is expected to announce Nashville as its 25th franchise. It’s going to be a fantastic annual roadtrip, let me tell you. What’s unclear is who the 26th franchise will be: Sacramento, Cincinnati or Detroit.

MLS also announced the 2018 home openers.
