Happy Wednesday folks, the first Wednesday in 2018! There were a couple main transactions in MLS that lead the news, so let’s jump right in:
D.C. United signed midfielder Júnior Moreno yesterday, acquiring him from Venezuela side Zulia FC. The 24-year-old has appeared recently on the Venezuelan national team and looks to add to the midfield core with the Black-and-Red. Black and Red United was on the case yesterday before the signing became official.
Sacha Kljestan is on the move, traded from the New York Red Bulls along with $150,000 in targeted allocation money (TAM) to Orlando City, who sent Carlos Rivas and Tommy Redding in exchange.
