With the departure of Bill Hamid to Midjtylland in Denmark, the D.C. United goalkeeping situation is in flux. The team’s best ever goalkeeper is gone, and while the team seems to have cast its lot with Steve Clark, the spots behind him are still up for grabs.

United selected Klenofsky with the 34th overall pick in the 2017 MLS Draft. The 6’6 man from Monmouth did not appear once for D.C. United, spending time on the United bench, on the injury list, and at the Richmond Kickers. He did play once for Richmond, saving five out of the six shots he faced in a 1-0 loss to Louisville City back in April.
