Hello from the Great Smoky Mountains! My family is enjoying a week of hiking and outdoors activities, and not going into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg (because, you know, there’s still a pandemic raging).
To the news:
In D.C. United’s world, there was only one piece of news yesterday: The end of Ben Olsen’s decade as head coach of the team. Thrust into an impossible situation mere months after retiring from playing, Olsen made something out of nothing for all those seasons when the team’s future was unclear and money was tight. It was past time to make a change, but I’ll always love Olsen for everything he has done for this team.
