TORONTO — Marc Methot suffered a hand injury when he was trying to block a puck against Montreal Tuesday and could be out for "a little while," coach Ken Hitchcock said Wednesday.
"He's not in any position to play right now. We'll evaluate him in the next few days," Hitchcock said. "He's got a significant cut from the puck on his hand and he's unable to use it or close it. It's in a delicate area, and it's going to be a problem for a little while. We'll just see how it goes kind of in the next few days.
