Will Jason Spezza be with the Stars next season? It's one of Jim Nill's biggest upcoming decisions.

Jason Spezza very much believes in his ability to play in the NHL.

It's yet to be seen if the Stars share that belief.

Spezza turns 35 June 13 and is coming off the worst season of his career. He has one year left on a four-year contract that averages $7.5 million per season. That means the Stars have three choices -- bring him back at that salary, buy him out at two-thirds of that salary ($5 million) spread out over two years ($2.5 million per), or try to trade him and eat as much as half of his salary.
