GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Stars say they have not fallen into a situation in which they have a home goalie and a road goalie.
But, if they did, you couldn't blame them.
Kari Lehtonen entered Thursday's game against the Arizona Coyotes on a tremendous run. He was 5-2-0 in his last seven starts (all on the road) with a 1.98 GAA and .929 save percentage. Ben Bishop, meanwhile, has registered 16 of his 21 wins at American Airlines Center.
It's a plan that has helped the Stars during their best run of the season.
But when the Stars return from this one-game road trip, they will play five of the next six at AAC with plenty of rest, so does that mean this non-plan continues during that stretch and Bishop gets most of the home games?
