DALLAS -- Most of the Stars' regulars will take the ice for the preseason opener Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. against St. Louis, including the possible top two lines and a tantalizing top defensive pairing.
First-year Stars coach Jim Montgomery will roll out a top line of Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov and a second line of Mattias Janmark, Jason Spezza and Valeri Nichushkin, the team's potential top-six forwards this season. On defense, John Klingberg will play alongside Miro Heiskanen in Heiskanen's first game at the American Airlines Center.
Montgomery said Heiskanen would play a lot of minutes with Klingberg in all situations.
