Prior to last night’s game with the Winnipeg Jets, Dallas Stars head coach Lindy Ruff caused quite a stir when it was announced defenseman Stephen Johns would be a healthy scratch. He also switched up the pairings, with Patrik Nemeth skating with John Klingberg.
The Stars got a goal in each period and staved off a rally by the Jets, who scored a late power play goal with the goalie pulled, for the 3-2 win.
Sean Shapiro has a recap of the game here. (NHL)
The win salvaged the last game of Dallas' 1-1-1 home stand.
