Travis Morin Gets First Head Coaching Victory as Stars Hold off Eagles 5-4

In their first trip to Colorado in team history, the Texas Stars held off the Eagles with a 5-4 victory. Rookie ATO signing Jerad Rosburg slotted into the lineup next to Gavin Bayreuther and pitched in with a goal and assisted on his partner's goal in the second period.

Assistant coach Travis Morin also made his debut as a head coach, filling in for Neil Graham who was out for the birth of his child.

The Eagles struck first on a tip shot from Colin Campbell nearly twelve minutes into the contest. The Stars responded on the ensuing shift as Oula Palve finished of a wrister from the right circle after some hard forechecking by Nick Caamano.
