The Dallas Stars announced their training camp roster this morning. After looking through the players included on their announcement, we’ve categorized them to give everyone a basis from which to evaluate players based on their likely destination this season:
As shown, the Stars are one player over the 23-man roster limit, likely meaning that some tough decisions are coming among the bottom six forwards here (such as Remi Elie, Jason Dickinson, Gemel Smith, and Devin Shore).
However, if bottom six roster spots are up for grabs, that means that someone such as a Roope Hintz, who impressed last training camp, could come in and solidify their spot in the NHL roster.
