The Stars have the worst special teams in the NHL; 'It can change a season'

The Stars on Saturday once again let special teams lead to a defeat.

Dallas blew a 3-1 third period lead by allowing two power play goals against in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals. What's more, they failed to capitalize on 1:23 of two-man advantage and on a four-minute power play created when Jamie Benn's nose was broken by a Washington high stick.

In the end, Dallas went 1-for-6 on the power play and 0-for-2 on the penalty kill. The penalty kill is getting roasted right now. Dallas has allowed 15 goals against in the past 11 games while going 3-6-2.
