PHILADELPHIA — You knew it was going to come down to the power play.
It just had to.
The Philadelphia Flyers, who draw more power play opportunities and score more man advantage goals than any team in the NHL, did it again Saturday afternoon. They went three for six on the power play, including scoring twice in the final four minutes, to earn a 4-2 win over the Stars.
The victory gives the Flyers eight wins in a row for the first time since 2002 and pushes them to 17-10-3. The loss means the Stars still have only been able to win two in a row on one occasion this season and fall to 11-12-6.
