WINNIPEG -- The fact Radek Faksa entered Sunday's game a plus-22 was impressive.
The fact he led the Stars in plus-minus while playing a very difficult role is somewhat incredible.
"He plays the heaviest minutes of anybody on our team," Stars coach Ken Hitchcock said. "He's been such an asset, because we've asked a lot of him. He's had the bulk of killing penalties, he's had to play against the other team's top players pretty much every night and he's had to come out after every special teams. That's a big role."
Faksa has been called into extra duty after Martin Hanzal was shut down for the season to have back surgery.
