Seeking a series sweep for the first time since 2014, the Stars got all they ordered and more with a 4-2 victory over the visiting IceHogs to advance to the Central Division Finals in front of 6,338 at home. They will face either Milwaukee or Manitoba in the next round pending the conclusion of that series after their first series win since May 2018, also against these same Rockford IceHogs.
