Wiping the slate clean from their loss in Rockford, the Stars crushed their weekend set in Chicago by a combined 11-2 margin, vaulting them to second place in the division. Anton Khudobin started both games and stopped 46 of 48 shots.
For Texas, it was an excellent sign of things to come. These two teams will meet up a total of eight times, and the Stars certainly would like to bank some extra points off the expected divisional bottom dwellers, especially after going 3-8-1 against them last year. That team also won the Calder Cup, so there's no shame in that game.
