Following Friday night's series-evening win, the Texas Stars made a few transactions. Forward Jason Robertson, fresh off signing an entry level contract with Dallas, signed an amateur tryout agreement with Texas. His Kingston Frontenacs were just recently eliminated from the OHL playoffs by the Hamilton Bulldogs. Robertson is most likely to play a black ace role. That being said, fellow ATO John Nyberg played in Friday's game as one of Texas's six defensemen.
The Stars also released goalie Mitch Gillam. With the Idaho Steelheads being eliminated from the playoffs, Texas can now recall Philippe Desrosiers as a third goalie if they need it.
