The Dallas Stars announced today the signing of Riley Damiani to a three-year entry-level deal. The centerman will report to the Texas Stars on an ATO.
Texas has been hard up for centers until recently, but the ones they've got now are quite green. Damiani is fresh off a series sweep in the opening round of the OHL playoffs. His Kitchener Rangers went down 4-0 to the Guelph Storm. Fellow Stars' prospect Liam Hawel plays for Guelph.
Damiani will be on ATO to Texas this season but report back to the OHL next season unless he makes the NHL.
